During the surprising turn at the E-Sports World Cup, the reigning Tekken World Tour champion Arslan Ash suffered an unexpected defeat.
Ash, who was considered the tournament’s top favourite, was beaten 2-1 by Ulsan and subsequently eliminated from the tournament after a 2-0 defeat by Jeonding, ending his journey prematurely.
After being ruled out of the tournament, Arslan Ash took to Twitter to share his thoughts, saying, “Alhamdulillah in any case. God willing next year.”
His message shows gratitude and determination to return firmly to future competitions.
A day before the defeat, Arslan Ash met Brazilian football star Neymar Jr during the eSports World Cup in Saudi Arabia, which was a memorable moment for him.
This meeting was especially important as it happened on the occasion of Arsalan Ash’s birthday.
He expressed his happiness on Twitter, saying, “It couldn’t have been a better birthday present than meeting Neymar Jr! Thanks for making my day!”
Neymar, who currently plays for Saudi football club Al-Hilal, was on hand to attend the event to take part in a celebrity show match to promote e-sports.
