Shane Watson out of the running for Pakistan’s head coach

Former Australian cricketer Shane Watson withdrew from the race of head coach of Pakistan cricket team.

According to a cricket news agency, Shane Watson has withdrawn his candidature for the limited-overs head coach of the Pakistan cricket team after he was the preferred choice of the PCB.

Pakistan Cricket Board offered an attractive salary to Shane Watson after which Shane Watson became interested in coaching the Pakistan Cricket Team.

However, now Shane Watson has chosen to retain his current coaching and commentary responsibilities while coaching Quetta Gladiators in PSL 9, later he will commentate in the IPL.

It should be noted that the Pakistan Cricket Board was ready to accept all the demands of Shane Watson, after which Shane Watson would have been the highest paid coach in the history of Pakistan cricket.

According to the report, Shane Watson was offered US$ 2 million per annum, which works out to over 4.6 crores per month.
